This is Rob Brough, Zions Bank, speaking on business.
Oswaldo Santos, a native of El Salvador, was looking for employment in the states. He found work
making counter tops for kitchens and bathrooms with a granite counter company. He enjoyed his job and, after 13 years, decided
he had enough expertise to begin his own company. He launched Elegant Universal Stone in 2005.
Elegant
Universal Stone specializes in making and installing granite and quartz countertops for kitchens, chimneys and bathrooms.
The company also works with marble and tile and fabricates ceramic floors. Much of the company’s work comes from contractors
who have been loyal customers since the company first launched. Without as much overhead cost as some competitors, Elegant
Universal Stone is able to offer better pricing without sacrificing craftsmanship.
Shortly after
starting his company, Oswaldo met a woman who was also from El Salvador, Lucy Santana. She was eager to assist Oswaldo with
his business. Lucy’s bilingual and office skills proved invaluable, and she soon learned all aspects of the business.
Lucy eventually became a full partner in the company.
Elegant Universal Stone makes its products
using only the finest materials. Jobs are finished on time according to a customer’s specifications. Delivery has been
so consistent that Oswaldo and Lucy have never received a customer complaint. They stand behind their products 100 percent.
Elegant Universal Stone offers a limited lifetime guarantee on the product for as long as the customer lives in his or her
home.
Oswaldo and Lucy invite any customers or potential customers to visit the company’s
website, elegantuniversalstone.com, to see a gallery of completed projects and find out more about the company and the services
it offers. They are committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and quality craftsmanship.
